This is an exciting period for the newly formed Artificial Intelligence and Data Science profession as the rapidly changing technology creates many opportunities and challenges. Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Engineering is prepared to meet the challenges in shaping the education of the 21st Century by providing unique educational and research opportunities in the forefront of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Web Development and many more. The vision of the department is to create globally recognized Al&DS Engineers for sustainable development. While the mission is to meet the current & future demands of the nation in the area of Al&DS and to produce high- quality students technically superior, professionally & ethically strong and to inculcate the interdisciplinary skill set required to fulfill a societal need. The department is doing relentless efforts for the same. The students are being prepared for the use of conceptual and practical understanding of core domain areas in not just enhanced programming skills disseminating their analytical abilities but also practically everything that revolves around data concept. Our aim is to provide our students the lifelong leaning skills that enable them to grow in their professions and advance to positions of responsibility by effective Industry-Institute Interaction. As the department works diligently to realize its mission of providing the best learning, teaching and research opportunities to students and academicians alike, it continues to supply students with the basics of modern knowledge and high values. The research activities of our faculty lead to an extraordinary enrichment of the experience of our students that is realized at undergraduate levels. The research training provided to Our undergraduate students creates the next generation of scholars well-prepared to advance knowledge and transfer technology. The extension of research opportunities to an ever- increasing group of undergraduate students adds a dimension of experience to the undergraduate education that simply cannot be duplicated in the classroom. Our students learn the joy as well as the rigours of new discovery, and acquire skills of inquiry, evaluation, and communication that provide a foundation for the next phases of their careers and lives. Amongst students' creativity, collective work and competition domestically, regionally and internationally thrive. As the faculty coordinator for the Artificial Intelligence Student Association, I am thrilled to be a part of the inauguration of this exciting new organization. Our students are highly motivated and passionate about AI and its potential to revolutionize various industries. The establishment of this association provides an opportunity for students to connect with one another and engage in collaborative projects, events and discussions. The exposure to cutting-edge research and the interaction with industry leaders will be invaluable to the students in their future careers. I have been impressed by the level of dedication and hard work put in by the student leaders and the committee members in making this association a reality. The enthusiasm and determination they have shown in creating a platform for students to explore the depths of AI is truly inspiring. I am confident that this association will provide a valuable experience for all students and will become a hub for AI innovation in our college. I look forward to working with the students in this association and watching their progress in the years to come. Furthermore, I believe that this association will not only benefit our students but will also play a critical role in shaping the future of AI. It provides a space for students to come together and share their ideas, engage in meaningful discussions, and challenge each other to think critically. The opportunities to network and collaborate with other students and professionals in the field are unparalleled and will be essential in the development of their careers. I am particularly impressed with the diversity of the student body involved in the association. Students from various backgrounds and disciplines have come together to form this group, and this diversity will only enrich their discussions and projects. In conclusion, I am honored to be a part of this inauguration and excited to see the impact this association will have on our students and the field of AI. I look forward to working with the student leaders and members in the coming years and supporting their growth and development. I strongly encourage all students interested in AI to join the Artificial Intelligence Student Association and get involved in shaping the future of this exciting field.

On behalf of the Student Association, I would like to welcome you all to the new semester. I hope you all had a wonderful break and that you found plenty of time to relax and enjoy yourselves. The new semester and the new academic year offers a new start, a fresh opportunity to engage with new professors, to confront new courses and to challenge new ideas and perspectives. The start of a new semester is a time full of possibilities, and a chance to bring your own renewed sense of discovery and intellectual curiosity to the academic experience. Let’s take advantage of this fresh start, and use it wisely. The Executive Team (AISA) have worked hard during the vacation for an even better and improved Association during this new semester. As term gets underway, I hope you will take advantage of the many opportunities that will be on offer; for academic and professional development, both individually and collectively. We have many events and activities outlined already, both for the benefit of the Association and the Students as well. These include the AI & DS welcome party (with snacks included), a visit to the various MNC, workshops, expert lectures, industry visits and many cultural events to name just a few. As we all know, “All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy”. In my view, one of the great things about AI &DS department is the freedom to develop ideas so that they become a reality, whether that be an event, a personal business plan or academic goals. I want to encourage you got inspired from groups of individuals like Mark Zuckerberg, Eduardo Saverin, Chris Hughes and Dustin Moskovitz (founders of Facebook) from Harvard University; Elmer Shapiro, Steve Carr, Steve Crocker, Jeff Rulifson, and Ron Stoughton (the initial creators of the internet) and a whole host of others from University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge. If we work hard, we can make AI & DS department a household name. We are dedicated to helping you attain all the necessary skills and more, though I would also like to impress upon you the importance of having fun while doing it! For the new students, I can tell you that AI &DS department will become “a home away from home” for all of you. AISSMS is a place where you will meet many new people from different cultures and backgrounds and create life-long friendships.  There are students from all around the world in the School, and this is another element that to explore. We know that you will be especially busy, but we hope that you might take a little time to contribute to the Student Association, as the memories and achievements you take from AI & DS department will last a lifetime.
